Palm Springs Trip Tips
Palm Springs Indian Canyons
There are lots of beautiful hikes you can choose to do at all different skill levels. Great for a picnic too!
Living Desert
Great for taking kids. It’s basically a desert zoo.
El Mirasol
Delicious Mexican food and awesome margaritas! Good for kids too. If you go to the one in south Palm Springs there’s a great ice cream shop a couple doors down called Kreem

Fun place for an adult beverage.

Awesome vintage store. The guy that owns it is super nice and a real collector. He has an amazing vintage flower pin collection.

The shops at 1345
Some cool little shops all under one roof.
Desert X
A bi annual art exhibit. All installations are scattered throughout the desert. I think the rainbow is pretty cool and it’s really easy to get to. Rainbow in Rancho Mirage is super cool and fun to check out with kids. If you go early in the morning there is a chance you can be there without any other people.
Tyler’s
Great burgers and sandwiches. I love their veggie burger. This place gets crowded but you can usually get seated in a reasonable amount of time.
Cheeky’s
Delicious food but gets crowded. Get there early for breakfast!
Italian Deli
This place has decent sandwiches. Something that didn’t used to exist in the desert. Good for getting to go.
Tommy Bahamas
Tommy Bahamas restaurant Palm Desert and Palm Springs. The one in palm Desert has a nice lunch. I haven’t been to the new one in Palm Springs yet.

Mr. Lyons
Awesome happy hour. Dinner is expensive but their happy hour is incredible! The decor is pretty cool and there’s a cool hidden second bar called Seymour’s inside the bar.

Joshua Tree
Joshua Tree is a cool short ride away. I would try and get there early and beat any possible crowds. There’s a cool vintage shop that has some handmade items too on the way there called The End. There’s a couple shops and a coffee place nearby too.
Koffi
Peters favorite local coffee place. There’s a bunch of locations.
Billy Reeds
This is a great place for large groups and kids. It’s an old Palm Springs local favorite. They have tons of options and their deserts are crazy. I highly suggest getting a cinnamon roll if you’re into that sorta thing. It’s life changing and you can get it to go if you’re too full. Ha!
Townie Bagels
Great bagel place!
