Trattoria 4 Leoni
This restaurant is delicious and not to be missed. We always eat here at least twice during our visit. It’s great for lunch or dinner. I noticed you can make online reservations now. I highly recommend doing so. It will be busy. We used to come here first thing and make reservations in person. That’s how good it is. They have this salad with pesto, pine nuts, cheese and avocado that is our favorite. You literally can’y go wrong here.
Faliero Sarti
Everything in this store is amazing!!!!! They have beautiful scarves. My mom and I both have some and they are amazing. They are not cheap but they are so very beautiful even just to take a look. They do have some scarves that aren’t as crazy expensive. I always like to get one really good thing on a trip instead of a whole bunch of little things.

Trattoria Marione
We went here for the first time on our last trip. It is definitely one of my new favorites! This restaurant is located across the street from the scarf store. One of the sales ladies from the scarf store actually told us to go here. We ordered a lot of food and everything was amazing!!!!!! It looks like you might be able to make reservations online here too. We went on easter and waited a little bit to get a table. I ordered a lot of the different sliced meats as appetizers and everything was so good! The people who work here are so fun and nice too!!!

Santa Maria Novella
You probably know about this place but I just thought I’d mention it. The worlds oldest pharmacy. Their soap is amazing!!!! It’s such a beautiful space and worth just taking a look. Last time we were there I noticed they have a place to have a cup of tea that looked kinda fun.

Gucci Garden
This is super fun. It’s an art installation that isn’t too big but super cool. They have a cute restaurant too. It’s a small fee to see the exhibit but really worth it. There are two gucci stores there too. They are both pretty wild and fun to just check out

Cibreo
I’ve only eaten eaten at the restaurant but I’m sure all their eateries are delicious. Peter and I have been to the restaurant twice and both times they were life changing. There are a lot of courses and their wine list is like a bible. The atmosphere is so charming and the servers are all so lovely. It’s one of my all time favorite restaraunts ever!!!! The price compared to somewhere like the french laundry is crazy too. It’s a fraction of the cost and so very special.

Venchi
This is Leelee’s favorite chocolate shop. It’s super delish and the prices are really reasonable. You can fill a big bag of all different kinds of chocolates and you will not be sorry. They have a bunch of locations.

Eataly
Great market place to get some food for the plane or to eat at hotel. We have got food for a long train ride here a couple of times. They have a nice restaurant upstairs that has nice food. I think the restaurant downstairs is more casual. I’m sure it’s good too.

Lorenzaccio Arte in Ceramica
Lovely pottery store. The husband and wife that own the store are so nice. My mom has been shopping here for years. I have purchased a few owl sculptures from them and the last time we went there she had a present for me. She had received a special order to make a large plate for the wall with an owl painted on it and a saying in Finnish. The person cancelled the order. When we walked in the last time we were there in April she said “oh I have something for you”. Then she gave it to me as a gift!! She said she wasn’t sure what it said because it was in Finnish. When I let her know that my fathers side of the family was Finnish she was so happy. I ended up finding out it said Birds Nest from my friend.
Volterrani and Raddi
Wonderful old school jewelry store. The husband and wife who own the store are very nice. My mom and I have purchased some gold charms from them in the past. The last time we were there we bought a couple of gold chain bracelets. We ended up chatting with Federico who owns and makes the jewelry. The store has been in his family for 150 years. It’s not inexpensive but everything in the store is made how things used to be made. If you stop by let him know I said hello.
